The Flare Initiative is looking for motivated and driven volunteers to join our team to assist with researching funding opportunities and preparing grant applications. This role focuses on identifying potential grants, gathering basic requirements, and writing proposals that communicate our mission and impact. You’ll be part of a collaborative process, working with the Board of Directors and other team members who share responsibilities for strategy, writing, and document preparation.

The role may also include light research into sponsorships, community foundations, and other funding pathways.

The Flare Initiative is a national nonprofit organization focused on first responder suicide research, data collection, awareness, and prevention. Your work and contributions will have an immediate impact and we look forward to you joining our team!

- Insight into nonprofit operations and advocacy work.
- Flexible remote schedule.
- Strong reference based on contribution.
