The Flare Initiative is a national nonprofit organization focused on first responder suicide research, data collection, awareness, and prevention. We are looking for driven and motivated individuals to help us spread awareness about first responder suicides, a topic shrouded in stigma and not often talked about. These positions are flexible and ideal for students wanting to build their portfolios. Opportunities Available: Social Media Creators — Develop and schedule engaging content that raises awareness of The Flare Initiative’s mission across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Graphic Designers — Create branded materials, infographics, and digital assets that align with our visual identity and help communicate our message clearly and professionally. Website Designers — Support the ongoing design, structure, and optimization of our website to ensure accessibility, clarity, and a strong public-facing presence. What We’re Looking For: - Passion for mental health awareness and first responder well-being - Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to collaborate - Familiarity with creative tools like Canva - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Certification or Education Required
Relevant education past or present, or, relevant work/volunteer experience is required.
