Director-at-Large for Visual Arts Studio Association (VASA)

VASA Director-at-Large 

A Director-at-Large is a voting member of the Visual Arts Studio Association (VASA) Board of Directors who contributes to the overall governance and success of the organization.

Responsibilities include:

- Attend and actively participate in monthly Board meetings.
- Vote on matters requiring Board approval and help make decisions in the best interests of VASA.
- Contribute ideas, perspectives and expertise to support VASA’s programs, activities and future direction.
- Help develop and support the organization’s goals, priorities and strategic plans.
- Participate in Board discussions and assist with projects or activities as needed.
- Support VASA’s mission, values and policies and help promote a positive relationship with members, artists and the community.
- Take on specific tasks or projects, when appropriate, based on the Board’s needs and the Director’s interests or skills.

This is a volunteer position with voting rights and the same fiduciary and governance responsibilities as other Board members.
