Are you passionate about libraries, literacy, and community building? This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in non-profit management and play a vital role in supporting the St. Albert Public Library. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare meeting agendas in coordination with the President. - Attend meetings of the Friends and confirm a substitute notetaker when unable to attend - Take meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and provide to the President in a timely manner for review. - Distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and agendas in a timely manner prior to meetings - Maintain membership records by gathering and updating necessary contact and personal information from Members. - Gather and update necessary contact and personal information from Executive for regulatory reporting requirements, and submit updates to the relevant governing body. - Share current volunteer contact information with the Library’s volunteer coordinator - Ensure accurate record keeping and file management, in compliance with privacy regulations. - Respond to requests for documents from members in a timely manner. - Assist in managing the Association’s Google Drive. Must live in the St. Albert/Edmonton region. This is an elected position.
