Committee member on the Strathcona County Social Framework Community Grants Advisory Committee

•	Members of the Strathcona County Social Framework Community Grants Advisory Committee independently review grant applications from social sector not-for-profit organizations once per year under the Strathcona County Social Framework Community Grants policy.
•	The committee collectively discusses grant applications and provides recommendations to Strathcona County Council on funding allocations. 
•	Committee members also provide insights and advice to Strathcona County Family and Community Services to inform the Social Framework Community Grants Program.
•	Committee members provide advice on issues that are important to Strathcona County. Committee members are diverse, independent and impartial. They are made up of dedicated volunteers from across the County with varied skills, backgrounds and experience.
Additional Details & Skills Required
An orientation will be provided prior to the first meeting.
Certification or Education Required
Knowledge of current social issues and opportunities in Strathcona County.
