Farmers' Market Volunteers Needed
The Outdoor Sherwood Park Farmers' Market is located at 3000 Emerald Drive in Sherwood Park (Canadian Tire parking lot) and has grown rapidly. This year is the markets 50th Anniversary! We will be kicking off this celebration at the June 11th scheduled market. We are searching for Market volunteers that can help assist with our Market Buds Program for children and are community-minded and have incredible people skills. Also we are looking for volunteers to help assist with the Market booth for the outdoor season. We believe that the Sherwood Park Community is a wonderful place to celebrate local businesses and events. Our Market volunteers would be a definite asset in welcoming our customers and helping to keep the market running efficiently.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Market volunteers are required every Wednesday, for various shifts between 2:00 and 7:30 PM. Volunteers will be provided with one Market Buck per volunteer hour that can be used to spend with any vendors of their choosing on site.
