Join Our Growing Team: Volunteer Recruitment & Onboarding Assistants Help us build the team that powers disability advocacy across Canada! Right to Live Canada is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Recruitment & Onboarding Assistants to form the backbone of our volunteer program. As a key member of this new team, you will manage the administrative flow of our recruitment process, ensuring every applicant has a smooth, professional, and positive experience. Working directly under the guidance of our Executive Director, you will handle the crucial day-to-day tasks that turn interested applicants into active, engaged volunteers. ----- What You’ll Do: - Be the First Point of Contact: Manage the volunteer@righttolive.ca inbox, sending templated emails to applicants and answering initial inquiries. - Maintain Our Database: Meticulously update our central Google Sheet, creating entries for new applicants and tracking their progress through each stage of the recruitment funnel (Application Received > Resume Requested > Interview Scheduled > Hired). - Coordinate Interviews: Liaise between applicants and the Interviewer (our Executive Director) to find mutually agreeable times for Google Meet interviews. - Schedule & Organize: Book confirmed interviews into the shared Google Calendar using Gmail's scheduling feature. - Facilitate Onboarding: Once a hiring decision is made, you will send out the offer email, track the return of signed NDA forms, and coordinate with the IT Manager to set up new volunteer accounts and Slack invitations. - Keep Our Listings Fresh: Ensure our volunteer opportunities are accurately posted and maintained across various ad boards like Volunteer Connector and Neighbourhood Network. - Collaborate via Slack: Use Slack for all internal communications with the Executive Director and other team members to provide updates and ask questions. ----- What We’re Looking For: - Exceptional Organization & Attention to Detail: You are someone who enjoys process-driven work and gets satisfaction from keeping data clean, accurate, and perfectly in sync. - Reliable & Responsive: Able to manage tasks independently and ensure timely communication with applicants and the internal team. - Tech-Comfortable: Confident using G Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Calendar) and communication platforms like Slack, or you're a quick and eager learner. - Strong Written Communication: You can professionally manage email correspondence using provided templates. - A Team Player: You work well with clear direction and are committed to supporting the team's goals. - Previous experience in administration, HR, or recruitment is a definite plus but not a requirement. A proactive attitude and a passion for our mission are most important! - Commitment: This is a flexible, fully remote volunteer position requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week.
