Graphic Designer for TipTap Countertop Donation Unit Design (Remote, Single Project)

Ongoing
Job Title: Volunteer Graphic Designer – The Countertop Lifeline Project

Organization: Right to Live Canada
Location: Remote (Canada-wide)
Time Commitment: Project-based (estimated 10-15 hours total)

          About Right to Live Canada

Right to Live Canada is a national non-profit organization focused on a critical failure in our social safety net: the rise of poverty-motivated euthanasia and suicide among Canadians with disabilities. Operating as systems analysts, we expose this flaw to the Canadian public, educate on its consequences, and provide direct, life-affirming intervention. Our programs work to alleviate the immediate suffering—like food insecurity—that drives people to this choice, while we lay the groundwork for future, systemic solutions.

          The Project: The Countertop Lifeline

We are launching a direct-intervention fundraising campaign to combat food insecurity—a key driver of the despair that leads to considering MAID for poverty. Instead of simply asking for help, we are building a tangible, immediate lifeline.

One primary tool will be TipTap contactless donation units placed on the countertops of independent businesses across communities. These units allow for simple, set-amount donations with a tap of a card or phone. The funds raised will be directly administered by our food bank partners, who are on the front lines and can ensure support reaches the most at-risk members of the disability community.

The Role: Design a Direct Intervention

We need a talented Volunteer Graphic Designer to create the visual interface for this lifeline. Your work will be the first thing a potential donor sees.

Your challenge is to design the letter-sized graphic that houses our TipTap donation unit. This isn't just a poster; it's a piece of quiet, effective communication that must sit on a business's countertop and, in a matter of seconds, convey the following:

- The Problem: The silent crisis of food insecurity forcing impossible choices.

- The Solution: A simple tap provides immediate, life-affirming food support.

- The Impact: Every donation is a direct intervention against despair.

You will translate a complex, systemic issue into a simple, powerful visual call-to-action.

          Who We Are Looking For:

- A graphic designer with a strong portfolio of clean, compelling print and marketing materials.
- Proficient in professional design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro, Figma).
- An expert in visual hierarchy, typography, and communicating a narrative through design.
- Someone who understands how to distill a sensitive, complex message into a design that is respectful, dignified, and effective.
- A reliable, communicative professional who is passionate about using their skills to address a critical flaw in our social safety net.
