Digital Operations Manager (Remote, Full Time)

Time Commitment: 35 hours/week minimum, four-month minimum commitment (duration negotiable)

Right to Live Canada is a virtual-office based Canadian non-profit start-up dedicated to realizing the right to live as a practical, supported, and executable choice.

Founded in response to poverty-driven euthanasia among Canadians with disabilities, we are building Continuity—a service, financial, technological, and institutional framework that helps people remain connected to preferable living futures. Our work spans Continuity Service, Continuity Insurance, Social Brokerage, and Corporate Farming to create scalable solutions that protect and extend the right to live.

------ ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Digital Operations Manager to lead the Digital Operations & Knowledge Management Department within our Global Narrative Integrity Team.

Working closely with senior leadership, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining the digital infrastructure that supports research, media intelligence, editorial operations, outreach, reporting, and organizational knowledge management. The successful candidate will oversee digital systems, documentation, dashboards, knowledge repositories, and workflow optimization while leading a team of volunteers across digital operations.

------ KEY RESPONSIBILITY
-- Lead the Digital Operations & Knowledge Management Department.
-- Supervise Search Systems Specialists, Knowledge Management Specialists, Database Administrators, Archive Coordinators, and Data Analysts.
-- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting systems, and operational metrics.
-- Design and improve digital monitoring systems and search workflows.
Maintain the organization's knowledge base, document repositories, SOPs, and archives.
-- Standardize documentation and knowledge management practices.
Support editorial, research, and outreach teams through effective digital systems.
-- Monitor system performance, data quality, and workflow efficiency.
Evaluate and implement digital tools that improve collaboration and productivity.
-- Produce operational reports for executive leadership.
Mentor volunteers and help build scalable digital processes.

------ QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
-- Experience in digital operations, knowledge management, information systems, project management, data management, or related fields.
-- Experience managing digital workflows, databases, or organizational information systems.
-- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-- Excellent written and verbal communication.
-- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion, Airtable, Asana, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
-- Ability to organize complex information into structured knowledge systems.
-- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong ownership and accountability.
-- Professional judgment when managing organizational information.
Commitment to approximately 35 hours per week.

Preferred:
Experience in knowledge management, information architecture, digital transformation, or systems administration.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, dashboards, workflow automation, and database management.
Experience with nonprofits, startups, research, media, or mission-driven organizations.
Knowledge of digital archiving, document management, and organizational governance.
Interest in building scalable digital infrastructure for a growing public affairs organization.

------ TIME COMMITMENT
This is a full-time volunteer role requiring a minimum commitment of 35 hours per week. Right to Live Canada is an early-stage, founder-led organization pursuing rapid national and global expansion. The role is best suited to someone who is comfortable with startup intensity, high responsibility, and a culture of serious dedication to the mission.
