B2B Sponsorship Outreach Team Manager (Remote, Part-Time)
Ongoing
Organization: Right to Live Canada Location: Remote - Canada, United States, or Europe Commitment: 12 hours per week for a minimum of four months Meetings: Attendance at the sponsorship outreach team meeting and regular CEO check-ins is required. Right to Live Canada is a Canadian nonprofit start-up working to make continued life a practical option when people face preventable death because essential care, housing, income, treatment, financing, or other supports are unavailable. We are also developing OpenABLS, an open-source Artificial Brain Life Support project exploring technology that could sustain a living brain when the body can no longer support it. ------ ROLE DESCRIPTION Right to Live Canada is seeking an experienced **B2B Sponsorship Outreach Team Manager** to lead our outbound corporate sponsorship team for Right to Live Canada and OpenABLS. This is a hands-on B2B sales leadership role, not general fundraising, grant writing, or an honorary management position. Performance will be measured by meaningful outcomes such as qualified conversations, meetings, proposals, sponsorship agreements, and revenue—not simply message volume. Sponsorships are commercial exchanges offering approved benefits in return for funding. The team may not invent sponsorship packages, promise exclusivity, or commit to unapproved benefits. ------ QUALIFICATIONS Universal Requirement: You must possess good equipment for virtual meetings, both video and audio. You must attend virtual meetings with the capability to give it your full attention, like a dedicated office room or space. Required: -- Prior experience managing or supervising a B2B sales, outbound prospecting, sponsorship sales, business development, or partnership acquisition team. -- Firsthand experience prospecting and selling to business decision-makers. -- Ability to coach salespeople, assign work, manage pipelines and follow-up, and improve performance. -- Experience setting expectations, onboarding team members, addressing underperformance, and maintaining accountability. -- Strong ability to evaluate prospect quality, outreach messaging, conversations, and sales opportunities. -- Strong written and verbal B2B sales communication. -- Ability to step into important sponsor conversations when necessary. -- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple representatives and active opportunities simultaneously. -- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, CRM/shared pipeline tools, prospect research, and remote team management. -- Strong commercial judgment, professionalism, accountability, and follow-through. Preferred: -- Experience leading sponsorship, corporate partnership, advertising, media, technology, research, event, or similar B2B sales. -- Experience creating outreach scripts, prospect segmentation, qualification standards, reporting, or sales dashboards. -- Experience building an outbound sales operation in a startup or resource-constrained organization. -- Experience managing remote or volunteer teams while assisting with higher-value opportunities. ------ TIME COMMITMENT This is an unpaid remote volunteer management role requiring 12 hours per week for at least four months. Previous B2B outbound sales experience and people-management experience are both mandatory. ------ HOW TO APPLY Apply using the form on our website (www.righttolive.ca/volunteer) or email your resume to volunteer@righttolive.ca.
