How you can help:
Workshops - We are always looking for people to lead workshops relating to our programs! Possible examples include workshops geared towards our entrepreneurs such as marketing or sales techniques. However, if you have any skills you'd be happy to share we'd love to hear from you.
Fundraising events - NSILC has several fundraising events throughout the year such as BBQ's during the summer, and an arts & crafts show on December 3rd. For these we turn to our volunteers to fill various roles.
Monthly Newsletter - Due to budget cuts we are no longer able to produce our previous monthly newsletter. This newsletter was distributed to local businesses and provided information on upcoming events and more. We would love if a dedicated volunteer could help us get it going again. Monthly too much? We could reduce it to a quarterly edition if that works for you!
Other - Honestly we just love meeting new people who have the same vision as we do. If you have an idea to help you'd like to run by us just let us know!
