Purpose of the Job:
The Content Editor will play a pivotal role in shaping and sharing Inspired 2 Uplift’s voice online. This role is responsible for editing content across our social media platforms to educate, raise awareness, and uplift communities about disability-related issues. The goal is to transform ideas and stories into compelling, accessible posts that foster a more inclusive and compassionate digital space.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Edit and curate social media posts, stories, and short-form videos (Reels, TikTok).


Ensure all posts adhere to I2U’s branding, voice, and messaging.


Stay updated with social media trends and implement best practices.


Collaborate with volunteers and chapter leads to gather stories, media, and campaign ideas.


Maintain an organized library of digital media assets.


Review and adapt content for accessibility and inclusivity.


Monitor and respond to engagement when needed, supporting a positive online environment.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Strong written communication and editing skills.


A keen eye for design and attention to detail.


Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, CapCut). 


Commitment to Inspired 2 Uplift’s mission and values.


Ability to work collaboratively, adhere to deadlines, and adapt to feedback.


Will occasionally help out with Canva and Social Media statics

Working Conditions:
Remote role with flexible hours.


Weekly meetings with the marketing team.



Physical Requirements:
Ability to work on a computer or mobile device for extended periods.
