GIRLS CLUB is a registered charity for girls with autism and other neuro-developmental differences, like Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and rare diseases/conditions. Our mission is to celebrate and connect these amazing girls, so they can have safe and meaningful opportunities to meet peers and make friends.

At GIRLS CLUB:
- Connection is key to our vision, which is a world where neuro-developmental differences are not a barrier to friendship, connection, happiness, and self-worth. We combat the social isolation and loneliness felt by girls who are “different” and who struggle to participate in mainstream school, activities, and society.
- We provide free, fully inclusive events to our many members, without charging them a cent. We want all families to participate, and we acknowledge the huge expenses for on-going therapy, accessibility, and medical costs that our member families are already burdened with. We aim to lighten the load by charging zero dollars for membership, and ensuring all our events are free to attend.
- GIRLS CLUB is one-of-a-kind! There is currently no other entity that does what we do. We are reaching a very under-served population, and growing rapidly across BC. GIRLS CLUB is often the ONLY place our girls get to feel accepted as themselves, and have the chance to meet other girls just like them.

MISSION: To celebrate and connect girls with neuro-developmental differences.

VISION: A world where neuro-developmental differences are not a barrier to friendship, connection, happiness, and self-worth.

PURPOSE: The purpose of GIRLS CLUB is to provide friendship, community, connection, and fun. It’s to give girls with neuro-developmental issues a chance to form meaningful connections with others, and feel a sense of belonging.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES: Our guiding principles are inclusivity, friendship and fun.
- Inclusivity: No financial or attitudinal barriers to membership; girls of all ages and disabilities welcome
- Friendship: All people wish to form meaningful relationships with others (even those that seem like they don’t),
and genuine relationships improve the quality of life for all parties
- Fun: GIRLS CLUB is about fun! It is not therapy; it is a place to relax, connect and enjoy
