Volunteer Event Coordinator - Move to Cure ALS (Kamloops)

The Move to Cure ALS - Kamloops event has been a meaningful part of the community since 2010, bringing people together to honour loved ones, raise awareness, and support individuals and families affected by ALS. After being paused last year, we are excited to relaunch the event in 2026 and continue the cherished Release of the Dove tradition, a powerful symbol of hope, remembrance, and unity. We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Event Coordinator (individual or group) to help lead the return of this special community event. With strong administrative support from the ALS Society of BC, this role is ideal for someone who values tradition, community connection, and making a lasting impact.

• Interest in supporting individuals and families affected by ALS • Enthusiastic, patient, outgoing, compassionate, mature, and responsible • Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively • Excellent communication skills • Excellent organizational and planning abilities
