Volunteer Event Coordinator - Move to Cure ALS (West Kootenay)

Location: West Kootenay (Cranbrook, Salmo, Nelson, Castlegar, Trail, Rossland, Nakusp, Kaslo)

The Move to Cure ALS is the ALS Society of BC’s primary event-based fundraising initiative, held annually in communities across British Columbia. As one of the earliest locations to champion this movement, West Kootenay is celebrating its 25th year of raising awareness and critical funds for ALS patient services and research.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Volunteer Event Coordinator (individual or group) to help plan and deliver this milestone community event. With strong support from the ALS BC administrative office, the coordinator will lead planning efforts, manage volunteers, and bring creativity to enhance an already beloved event.
ALS Society of BC is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by ALS. As a small organization that relies heavily on volunteers, we welcome compassionate leaders who want to make a meaningful difference.
Additional Details & Skills Required
Training and support from the ALS Society of BC staff are provided.
