Community Outreach and Fundraising Team Member

Seeking a mission-aligned Community Outreach & Fundraising Team Member to represent Purpose Youth Ministries through outreach, relationship-building, and direct fundraising by engaging potential donors, organizations, businesses, and individuals.

Job Duties

- Conduct cold calls and direct outreach to organizations, churches, businesses, and potential donors 
- Clearly communicate the mission, programs, and impact of Purpose Youth Ministries 
- Solicit financial donations, sponsorships, and in-kind support on behalf of the organization 
- Build and maintain relationships with donors and partner organizations 
- Help plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach strategies 
- Identify new fundraising and partnership opportunities 
- Track outreach, donor conversations, and follow-up activities 
- Collaborate with leadership to align fundraising goals with organizational priorities 
- Participate in in-person fundraising in the Greater Toronto Area (optional)



Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills 
- Comfort with asking for donations and discussing financial support 
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently 
- Passion for youth ministry, faith-based service, and community impact 
- Experience in fundraising, sales, nonprofit development, or outreach is a plus, but not required
