Volunteer Facilitator – English & French Conversation Circle

We’re looking for energetic and friendly volunteers to co-host English and/or French Conversation Circles for newcomers. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy languages, cultural exchange, and helping people feel welcome. No teaching experience required—just a clear and confident voice in English or French and a passion for supporting others.

Volunteers will help lead free or guided discussions in a welcoming and supportive environment. You’ll help newcomers build confidence, improve their language skills, and feel part of their new community.

Duration: 4–6 months
Format: Remote or hybrid (York Region)
Schedule: Flexible, approx. 1–3 hours per week
