Hospice Companion Visits - Care Facility

In this role, volunteers will directly interact with hospice patients and/or their families. Volunteers may be assigned to an individual or to all resident who are accepting of a volunteer visit. Residents may be there for a short stay, an undefined length of stay or death may be imminent. Volunteers create positive engagement through reading, conversation or other activities. May also provide a quiet presence at the bedside.
