St. John Ambulance Saskatchewan Council

St. John Ambulance Saskatchewan Council enables people to improve their health, safety and quality of life by providing training and community service. Drawing upon a tradition of over 950 years, St. John provides first aid training and products which support Medical First Aid coverage by our trained volunteers for community events and also supports visitations by our volunteer Therapy Dog teams.

Medical First Responder volunteers provide first aid coverage for a wide variety of community events such as concerts, sporting events, civic picnic parties amongst others. they allow people to enjoy the event knowing that injuries and health concerns will be quickly and efficiently dealt with by our caring and trained volunteers.

Therapy Dog Teams are volunteers with their pets who have been screened by St. John for their suitability to visit hospitals, schools, senior's homes, airports and various other facilities requesting coverage. The Teams provide a welcome visit that reduces stress and provides an opportunity for participants to exchange unconditional love.
