Bingo Volunteers - Red Deer Arts Council

Twice a month, we operate a half bingo with 4 volunteers, only one of whom can work in the office. That individual is chosen on the day at the bingo hall. We routinely need 4 people to cover shifts. 

Shift last about 5 hours each, and you can expect to be walking around the bingo hall most of that time, walking quickly to read off winning bingos, selling bingo cards to players, and making proper change. It can feel like a quick pace before the games begin, and then a bit of a rush when a bingo is called. 

Often, you'll find the position fairly quiet during gameplay as players listen closely to the Bingo caller. A strong voice is needed to read numbers back clearly to the caller across the large room.
