As a 1:1 Bible Reader Volunteer, you will visit residents individually to read passages from the Bible, offer conversation, and provide spiritual comfort. Many residents deeply appreciate these quiet moments of reflection and connection.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Read Bible passages with or to residents
- Engage in friendly conversation and fellowship
- Offer companionship and a listening ear
- Visit residents in a respectful and supportive manner
Volunteer Requirements:
- Kind, patient, and respectful
- Comfortable reading the Bible aloud
- Able to commit to regular visits (schedule flexible)
- Interest in supporting residents’ spiritual well-being
