Audrey’s League for Wayward Animals Yearning for Safety

Audrey’s League for Wayward Animals Yearning for Safety (A.L.W.A.Y.S.) is a 100% volunteer run, foster based rescue organisation based in Red Deer, Alberta.

We have two primary objectives:
• Care for, rehabilitate, and rehome any companion animal surrendered to our organization.
• Keep families and companion animals together, whenever possible, by providing provisions and medical assistance.

We accept furred, feathered, and scaled companion animals, provide them with any necessary medical needs, and match them with appropriate permanent homes. We saw a need for a rescue that accepted all types of companion animals and decided to fill that gap.

We believe in the importance of working together as a whole, supporting one another, and offering aid to those in need. Do all things with kindness!

Rescue can be hard, but it is also incredibly rewarding when you know that you have helped make a difference in the life of an animal, or a person struggling to keep their companion animal with them.

Every volunteer is critical to A.L.W.A.Y.S. Volunteers provide valuable support and strength to our mission, and we simply cannot do what we do without you!
