Donation Station Volunteer
Access to Therapy is a registered Canadian charity supporting communities across western Canada. Come be part of a fun, low-key event that makes a real difference! We are looking for 1-2 friendly volunteers to help support a donation station at the Raymond Home Hardware Customer Appreciation BBQ on August 20th, 2026. The Event: Raymond Home Hardware is hosting their annual Customer Appreciation BBQ and has partnered with Access to Therapy to give attendees the option to make a donation while they enjoy a free hot dog. This is a "pay what you wish" model where the BBQ itself is free, courtesy of Raymond Home Hardware, and donations are entirely optional. What You'll Be Doing: - General event support - Helping set up and take down the event - Set up and organize the donation area - Welcoming attendees as they come through the hot dog line - Sharing about what Access to Therapy does and answering questions - Keeping the donation area organized - Accepting cash donations and helping direct people to the QR code donation link - O No experience is necessary, just a friendly attitude and a willingness to chat with folks in the community and a drive to make a difference.
