Do you love to perform and bring joy to others through music? Join Chords of Care, a youth-led nonprofit that organizes musical outreach performances for seniors, youth, and underserved communities. We're looking for passionate performers (instrumentalists, singers, or small ensembles) to share music that uplifts, connects, and inspires. You’ll have the opportunity to rehearse and perform at care homes, special events, and collaborative showcases with other youth musicians. We welcome all musical styles and genres — from classical to jazz, pop to traditional, folk to original compositions. Whether you play violin, sing R&B, perform in a rock duo, or do solo piano covers, there’s a space for you. Volunteer Duties: - Perform solo or in an ensemble during outreach events - Attend rehearsals and performances - Collaborate with other youth performers and coordinators - Communicate availability and song selections in advance Skills & Qualifications: - 13–20 preferred, but open to all youth performers - Comfortable performing in front of small to large audiences - Able to prepare music independently or with a group - Respectful, reliable, and community-minded - All instruments, voice types, and musical styles welcome! *Note: This is specifically the Tri-Cities (Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Port Moody) branch.
