As the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Advisor with the WUSC Empowering the Next Generation: Agency and Gender Equality (ENGAGE Youth) Guyana project, based in Georgetown, Guyana, you will support the partner and key stakeholders from Guyana’s Hinterland regions, in developing and implementing comprehensive gender equality programming. Certification or Education Required
Degree and/or formal/professional training in gender/women’s studies, social sciences, or a related field

-Support and guidance from the WUSC Volunteer Mobilization Team prior to departure and from WUSC Country Team while on assignment -Pre-departure training to learn about the volunteering for development program, gain practical skills for living and working in an intercultural context and network with other volunteers -In-country orientation upon arrival in country of assignment -Language training in country of assignment, where required -Modest monthly living and accommodation allowance
