Position Overview

The Asanty Beauty Foundation is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Volunteer Team Lead to oversee and support volunteers across various departments within the Foundation. This individual will play a key role in ensuring volunteers are engaged, supported, and aligned with organizational goals while fostering a positive and collaborative volunteer experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with leadership abilities who enjoys mentoring others, coordinating teams, and helping volunteers succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

•      Lead, coordinate, and support volunteers across Foundation programs and departments.
•	Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer-related inquiries and support.
•	Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training.
•	Assign tasks and responsibilities based on volunteer skills, interests, and organizational needs.
•	Monitor volunteer participation and engagement to ensure effective team performance.
•	Conduct regular check-ins with volunteers and provide guidance, encouragement, and feedback.
•	Collaborate with Foundation leadership to identify volunteer needs and workforce planning.
•	Assist in resolving volunteer concerns and promoting a positive team culture.
•	Maintain volunteer records and track participation as required.
•	Support volunteer recognition initiatives and appreciation activities.
•	Ensure volunteers understand and follow Foundation policies, procedures, and expectations.
•	Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling organizational information.

Qualifications

•      English required; French is an asset.
•	Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•	Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating teams is an asset.
•	Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
•	Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
•	Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
•	Proficient with virtual communication tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Workspace.
•	Passion for community service and alignment with the Foundation's mission and values.
