Position Overview

The Asanty Beauty Foundation is seeking a Volunteer Content Creator to support the development of compelling digital content that amplifies the Foundation’s mission and storytelling. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about using media to drive community impact. This role involves creating social media content, writing short-form copy, supporting digital campaigns, and helping maintain a consistent online presence across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality social media content (graphics, short videos, reels, stories, captions).
Develop engaging written content for newsletters, posts, and community updates.
Assist with planning and scheduling weekly content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
Help maintain the Foundation’s brand voice and visual identity across all content.
Support digital campaign development for community outreach initiatives.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement creative ideas.
Track content performance and suggest improvements for engagement.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling organizational information.

Qualifications

English required; French is an asset.
Strong creative and storytelling abilities.
Experience with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar).
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience or interest in marketing, communications, digital media, or nonprofit storytelling is an asset.
