Treasurer - Mission Thrift Store Okotoks
As a volunteer driven, faith based organization, we rely on volunteers to help us with our mission. Donations empower lives in the local community, as well around the world through the work of Bible League Canada. We also reduce waste by giving items a new life and diverting them from the landfill. Mission Thrift Store works with various local agencies to provide donated items to people in need in our own community.

Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
This rewarding position requires a Treasurer that's experienced in accounting. Leading the Finance Committee in guiding and advising the Board and Management through budgeting; overseeing the annual audit of the store's financial statements; and providing Budget to Actual summaries for Board meetings. The store employs a bookkeeper for the day to day record keeping.
