Calgary Rural Primary Care Network

We believe in the adage that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We want to change the way our communities look at health care, and emphasize illness prevention. We can do this by providing support and education for your ongoing good health. Empowerment begins when patients build ongoing relationships with their family doctors and the health care team.
Since 2006, the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network has been working together with communities, family doctors and other health team members to do whatever we can help you be as healthy as possible.
The way we deliver health care in our communities - by providing support through health specialists such as nurses, dietitians and other health care professionals - we move from reactive to preventative. We collaborate to provide the tools and education to empower patients to work on their everyday health needs.
We are a not-for-profit organization and joint venture with Alberta Health Services, and our goal is to promote primary health care services in rural Alberta through working with our partners and community stakeholders.
