Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you love the outdoors and want to spend your summer in a beautiful, natural setting while helping others grow and thrive? Join us as a Volunteer Camp Counsellor at our unique, enriching special needs summer camp held in the stunning surroundings of Bronte Creek Provincial Park!

Our program offers children with special needs the chance to experience full-day fun and immersive learning in nature. From hiking scenic trails and enjoying nature walks, to visiting the farm and interacting with animals, to cooling off in the pool—our campers are engaged in meaningful, skill-building activities all summer long.

We focus on developing:

🎵 Fun through songs, games, and hands-on activities

Volunteer Role & Responsibilities:
As a Camp Counsellor, you’ll work alongside experienced therapists to support campers throughout the day. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with daily camp activities and transitions
- Supporting children during hikes, crafts, and games
- Encouraging participation in music, songs, and group activities
- Providing support during swimming sessions and field trips
- Helping foster a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment

**Who Should Apply:**
This opportunity is perfect for high school students looking for volunteer hours or individuals interested in education, special needs support, child development, or anyone with a big heart and a love for the outdoors. No prior experience is necessary—just enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to learn!

Dates: Summer 2025 (9am - 4pm, weekdays)
We offer 7 weeks of camp from July 7 - August 22, volunteers are welcome to volunteer for individual weeks or all weeks throughout the summer.
