The Ontario Young Liberals (OYL) is the official youth wing of the Ontario Liberal Party. It brings together young people across Ontario who are passionate about civic engagement, public policy, and creating positive change in their communities. OYL members advocate for issues like education, equity, affordability, and youth representation in government while gaining hands-on experience in leadership, organizing, and political involvement.

We’re currently working to open a new chapter in Oakville, and we’re recruiting motivated volunteers who want to get involved. To officially launch our Oakville chapter, we need five founding executive members, we already have people for the President and Vice President roles, and we’re currently looking for a dedicated Secretary to complete our team. Applicants must reside in Oakville and be between 14–25 years old to be eligible.
