Community Delivery Client Caller (18+)

Help us to confirm food orders for those clients who are unable to attend our KSM Food Market in person and receive deliveries. 
Phone clients on Mondays  to obtain their food preferences.   
***This role is specifically targeted to a Russian or Ukrainian speaking volunteer***

Shifts are weekly on Mondays, and timing is flexible during business hours.  The first few shifts will take place at KSM and future shifts can take place from your home. 

Responsibilities:
Review the weekly special items provided by the Community Delivery Coordinator noted on the Community Delivery Tracker
Each Monday, call the people assigned to you on the Community Delivery Tracker.  Calls can be made from KSM or from home.  Call each delivery clients to check in on them and update the tracker with their food order for the week
Enter client orders into the KSM excel tracker
Communicate updates (messages, identified concerns, other) from clients to Community Delivery Coordinator via Teams Chat
Exercise patience and creativity when understanding needs of clients, particularly for those whom English is a second language
Practice good judgement and interact with clients in a positive and respectful manner

Requirements:               
Must be 18+
Clear and current Vulnerable Sector Check
Ability to deal with vulnerable persons appropriately, previous experience is an asset
Must be reliable and committed to making calls at the same times each week as clients will count on the interactions
Have a desire to care for people in the community in a meaningful way
Respect for client confidentiality
Ability to speak Russian/Ukrainian 

Commitment: Minimum 6-month commitment; Must be on time and committed to making the calls at a specified time each week.
