Bread Bagging Volunteer (18+)

Package donated bread and baked goods for distribution to our client community.  Seeking volunteers 18+ who can commit for a minimum of 6 months. 

Available weekly shifts: Tuesdays 830-10am, Wednesdays 9-10am, Fridays 830-10am

Responsibilities:  
Follow KSM’s safe food handling guidelines which includes wearing gloves and hair covering during the shift 
Check bread racks and dispose of old bread as per KSM waste management protocols (compost and garbage) 
Individually package newly donated bread and baked goods for distribution to clients 
Arrange the packaged products on the bread racks  
Wheel the bread racks to the designated area 
When bagging is complete, disinfect the work counters, dispose of any waste and sweep floors  

Requirements:    
Must be 18+ 
Attention to detail 
Ability to take direction and work independently 
Food Handling Certification is an asset 
Commitment:  Minimum 6 month commitment, one shift per week
Certification or Education Required
food handling certificate is an asset.
