Minimum age to volunteer is 14yrs + Gallery Management Ambassadors On-field conductors ensuring safety and consistency from tee to green. Commit to four shifts with training Tuesday/Wednesday. Admissions & Spectator Services Welcome guests, scan tickets, and assist visitors at entrances. Flexible shifts (Tue–Sun), accommodating student schedules. Ambassadors Greet and guide guests, assist with directions via Golf Canada App during peak tournament days (Tue–Sun). Caddie Services Organize bibs, distribute towels, and ensure caddies have smooth tournament days. Early shifts available in advance week. Communications Central hub for inquiries and radio communication, connecting departments. Shifts Monday through Sunday. Competition Support - Walking Scorers: Record scores/stats via handheld tablets. Mandatory Wednesday–Sunday after online training. - ShotLink Mobile Spotters: Flag off-course shots, relay info for real-time scoring. Must be 18+, short training required. Evacuation Coordinate safe evacuations of players and caddies. Must be 25+, licensed driver, and complete Safe Sport Training (Mon–Sun). Golf Carts Oversee golf cart distribution, maintenance, and returns. Volunteers must be 18+ with valid driver's license. Grounds & Course Manage hydration stations, deliver beverages/signage, and provide logistical support (Mon–Sun). Medical Certified medical professionals supporting EMS teams with on-site medical care. Operations Support Set up tournament signage, ropes, and volunteer areas before and after event week. Volunteers 16+. Player Services Register players, coordinate local activities, and assist with hospitality (Sun–Sun, 18+, Safe Sport & background check required). Practice Facility Assist practice range operations, manage access, and distribute range materials (shifts start 5:15 AM, Sun–Sun). Special Events Help deliver memorable event experiences (Pro Am, concerts, school visits). Great for personable volunteers (Safe Sport & background check required). Standard Bearers Walk course displaying player scores/groups. Requires golf knowledge, etiquette, and mandatory training (Wed–Sun). VIP Hospitality Manage VIP admissions at Skyboxes/Tents. Volunteers 18+, shifts Thursday–Sunday. VIP Tournament Transportation Transport players/officials to hotels, airports, and course. Volunteers 25+, licensed with Safe Sport training. Volunteer Security Control access to restricted areas ensuring safety/order. Requires customer service skills, physical stamina, Safe Sport & background check (18+, Mon–Sun). Volunteer Services Distribute uniforms, credentials, and shuttle volunteers, ensuring a positive volunteer experience. 50/50 Sales Committee Sell 50/50 tickets benefiting First Tee – Canada. Great for outgoing volunteers (Wed–Sun).
