Volunteer Opportunity: Facilitator of AI Workshops at Oakville Community Center

We are looking for experienced volunteers with a technical background to support our “AI Made Easy” workshop series for seniors at Oakville community centres. Each session explores practical AI topics such as creating greeting cards, design a travel plan and guided hands-on activities.

1. Apr 29, 1:00 – 2:00 PM, River Oaks Community Centre, AI Made Easy: Create a Greeting Card
2. Jun 3, 1:00 – 2:00 PM, River Oaks Community Centre, AI Made Easy: Design a Travel Plan
3. Additional sessions in August, October, and December (time & location TBD)

What You’ll Do
Guide seniors step-by-step in using AI tools (e.g., creating greeting cards)
Provide hands-on support during activities
Help create a patient, friendly, and inclusive learning environment
Assist with setup and basic troubleshooting

Who We’re Looking For
High school senior / university students / adults with basic technical or AI-related knowledge
