Volunteer Opportunity: Support Kids in STEM at Oakville Community Centers!

2-3 hours / weekly
whole season 10-12 weeks
We are excited to invite high school volunteers to join us in supporting robotics After-School Programs running across three Oakville community centers, QEPCC, River Oaks CC, Sixteen Miles Sports Complex.
What You’ll Do
Help kids ages 6–12 explore robotics, coding, and STEM in a fun, hands-on environment.
Support instructors during after-school sessions at local community centers.
Encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in young learners.

Information on relevant certificate training (e.g., volunteering, child safety, STEM facilitation).
On-site training and mentorship from experienced instructors.

Who We’re Looking For
High school students passionate about education, STEM, and multicultural engagement.
Experience in robotics or coding experience are preferred, but not must.  Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn is a Must!

CPR-C, HIGH5 is preferred.  If not, we will provide guidance for the training.
