Time commitment varies by case
We're looking for volunteers in Halton Region (Oakville, Burlington, Milton) to provide: 1) Short-term, temporary homes for dogs whose human companions are temporarily hospitalized 2) Short-term, temporary homes for dogs who have lost a human companion due to relocation, illness, or death, and an adoptive home has not been identified yet. Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
You're helping to prevent a dog from being placed in a less-than-ideal arrangement, when they are already dealing with the loss of their human companion. Quite literally, you could be saving a dog's life!
