Volunteer Operations Manager

Cyber Harassment Support (CHS) is looking for a Volunteer Operations Manager to help coordinate its growing volunteer team and support day-to-day operations. Working directly with the CHS President, the volunteer will use Jira or a similar task management tool to track assignments, deadlines, and progress; coordinate volunteer responsibilities and handoffs; identify operational bottlenecks; and provide weekly updates on priorities, progress, and support needed. Applicants should have experience using Jira or a similar task management tool and coordinating people, projects, or day-to-day operations. Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a patient, respectful approach to working with volunteers. Nonprofit experience is an asset but is not required. This is an unpaid, remote volunteer opportunity, with weekly hours and scheduling agreed upon based on availability.
Certification or Education Required
- Experience using Jira or a similar task management tool. - Experience coordinating people, projects, or day-to-day operations. - Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills. - A patient, respectful approach to working with volunteers. - Ability to resolve routine problems and recognize when to seek support.
