Help Make Food Distribution Day Happen!

Looking for a volunteer who enjoys being organized, active and helpful? This is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in making our weekly food distribution day run smoothly.

You’ll help with everything from the moment the food arrives to making sure it is organized, accessible and distributed throughout the day.

What You’ll Be Doing

🚚 Receiving Deliveries
Help unload food from the delivery truck and bring items into the distribution area.

📦 Sort & Organize
Help lay out and organize food, separating dry goods from items that need to be refrigerated.

🥫 Inventory & Tracking
Help count and keep track of food quantities and how much is being distributed.

🧊 Stock & Organize
Keep refrigerated and dry goods organized and easy to access throughout the day.

🤝 Welcome & Assist
Interact with people accessing the food and provide friendly, helpful assistance. A warm and welcoming attitude is an important part of this role!

✨ Keep Things Moving
Help maintain an organized space and jump in wherever you’re needed throughout the day.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

Friendly, welcoming and comfortable interacting with people
Organized and detail-oriented
Reliable and able to commit to the Tuesday time
Comfortable with some lifting, carrying and standing
Able to work independently and take initiative
A team player who is happy to help wherever needed
No previous food distribution experience is required — we’ll show you the ropes!
