Community Chop, Chat & Cook Volunteer

1333 Dorval Dr, Oakville, ON, L6K2H2 [map]
Ongoing
Calling all food lovers, budget pros, and creative cooks!

Community Living Oakville is looking for volunteers to help lead a Healthy Eating & Cooking on a Budget program for people we support. This could be a monthly group, a short series, or even a one-time special event—we’re totally open to ideas!

This role is all about making food fun, approachable, and affordable. Volunteers might help plan simple recipes, talk about grocery shopping on a budget, cook together, share tips, and enjoy a meal as a group. No chef skills required—just enthusiasm, creativity, and a love of good food.

If you enjoy cooking, sharing ideas, or finding ways to eat well without breaking the bank, this is a great way to connect, laugh, and make a real difference in people’s lives.

Whether you’re a seasoned home cook, a student, or someone with a passion for healthy living, we’d love to hear from you!
