CLO Snow Buddies
Oakville, ON
[map]
On call position over the winter.
SNOW BUDDIES ☃️ Help us keep our CLO homes safe, accessible and snow-free! Winter is coming—and we’re looking for some awesome Snow Buddies to lend a hand after a big snowfall! Community Living Oakville has 17 supported group living homes across Oakville and Georgetown, and keeping walkways, entrances and outdoor areas clear of snow can be a big job. We’re looking for volunteers who don’t mind getting outside, grabbing a shovel and helping out when Mother Nature brings us a little—or a LOT—of snow! 🧤 What you’ll do: • Shovel snow from walkways and entrances • Clear accessible pathways where possible • Help with light snow clean-up around the home • Work independently or with a friend, sibling or family member ⏰ How it works: Snow Buddies volunteer on a call-in basis—when a significant snowfall happens and help is needed, we’ll reach out to our Snow Buddies to see who’s available. 👨👩👧👦 Make it a family affair! This is a great opportunity for high-school students to volunteer with a parent, sibling or friend. Grab your winter gear, turn up the music and make a little snow-day difference! ❤️ Why volunteer? A few hours of your time can make a real difference by helping keep our homes welcoming, safe and accessible throughout the winter. Ready to become a Snow Buddy? Grab your shovel and join the team!
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
*volunteer Hours *stay active outside *make a real, immediate difference *give back and help to your neighbours in the community
