Legal Advisor - VIRTUAL

A legal advisor for TAPC will provides legal guidance and advice to the organization and its board members. They help ensure that the nonprofit complies with all relevant laws and regulations, such as those related to tax-exempt status, employment law, and contracts. The legal advisor may also assist with reviewing and drafting legal documents, such as bylaws, policies, and agreements. They may provide advice on risk management and help the board understand potential legal implications of decisions they make. The legal advisor may also represent the nonprofit in legal matters, such as in disputes or litigation. Overall, the legal advisor plays a crucial role in helping the nonprofit board operate ethically and legally, while also protecting the organization's mission and assets.
