We are seeking a dedicated Treasurer to join the Board of Directors of our non-profit organization, which provides a hands-on, project-based educational experience designed to foster creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in youth. The Treasurer will play a key role in overseeing the organization’s financial health, helping ensure our mission is supported with transparency and sustainability. Experience in financial management or accounting is preferred.

The Treasurer will oversee BCOMA’s budget, financial planning, and cash flow, helping minimize financial risk. The successful applicant will have a professional financial designation and will be responsible in managing our relationships with the accountant, banks, and financial institutions, and ensure compliance with financial systems. Key duties include working with the accountant to prepare timely financial statements and file annual taxes with the CRA, supporting budget development.
