A4K Champions Night Gala - Volunteer (Volunteer Position)

Athletics For Kids Financial Assistance Society (A4K) provides families in need with financial assistance to pay for registration fees for their children’s sports. We believe that all BC children should have the opportunity to play sports and realize their full potential, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Athletics For Kids is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us for our annual Champions Night Gala: In Every Kid’s Corner on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Grand Villa Burnaby.

Champions Night is A4K’s signature fundraising event, bringing our community together for an exciting evening in support of our mission to help children and youth across British Columbia access organized sport.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help make the evening a success! Volunteer opportunities include:
Guest welcome and registration
Raffle support
Drink ticket station
Table hosting
Guest experience and event support
Other event-day roles as needed

Who Should Apply?
This is a great opportunity for high school students looking to complete volunteer hours, sports teams or groups looking to give back, and community members who want to support youth sport.

No previous event experience is required. Volunteers must be 15+, and the volunteer form must be submitted by October 2nd. We’ll provide volunteers with information and guidance ahead of the event so everyone feels prepared for their role.
