North Shore Stroke Recovery Centre (NSSRC) is currently seeking a volunteer Board Member with a finance/treasury competency, for a two-year renewable term to take on the role of Treasurer. The Board is responsible for strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management and overall governance of the organization. It is made up of community members committed to continuing the work and support provided by the Centre. We are currently seeking a Board Member with experience in finance/treasury functions within the non-profit sector. A resident of, or ties to the North Shore, would also be helpful.

Responsibilities include:

-Overseeing the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing.
-Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
-Monitoring and advising on the organization's financial health and sustainability.
-Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and policies.
