Queen’s Park Care Centre (QPCC) provides the community of New Westminster with general rehab, adult day programs and long term care services. This multi-generational campus featuring multi-level care with interdisciplinary teams of caregivers is recognized as playing a vital role in the health care community of New Westminster.

Volunteers are important members of the QPCC health care team. Every week caring and dedicated individuals volunteer their time, talents, skills and knowledge to support the QPCC health care teams, raise much-needed funds and enhance the overall experience for QPCC residents, patients, clients, families and visitors.

QPCC Therapeutic Recreation- Community Bus Outings
Companion/Visitor / Outing Assistant
A weekly social event program for the residents where they can get out into the community via bus trip to a variety of locations. Residents attend no more than one bus outing per month so it is speci…

QPCC Therapeutic Recreation - Pokeno
Companion/Visitor / Peer Support
Assist the residents with playing one of their favorite games, Pokeno! This assists with socialization and mental stimulation. Available Opening(s): Monday: 2:00pm-4:00pm
2 hours / weekly

Beauty and Hair / Companion/Visitor
Socialize and engage with the residents to promote a fun and positive atmosphere while assisting with the application of nail polish. Available Opening(s): Wednesday: 10:00am-11:30am
