Sponsorships and Grants Lead

Mandate: Secure non-dilutive funding and strategic sponsorships that accelerate the scale of Blue Corridor initiatives—especially the Chapters Project across Africa. What You’ll Own: Identifying and mapping grant opportunities, philanthropic funds, and CSR budgets Building and managing relationships with foundations, institutions, and high-net-worth individuals Leading outreach and conversations with potential sponsors and partners Crafting compelling funding narratives and positioning (not generic proposals) Converting introductions and conversations into funded partnerships Maintaining a pipeline of active opportunities (grants, sponsorships, collaborations) Skills Required: Strong network or demonstrated ability to build one quickly Experience with grants, CSR partnerships, or philanthropic funding Exceptional communication and positioning ability Strategic thinking (understanding how to align our work with funder priorities) Persistence and follow-through (funding is a long game) What Success Looks Like: Qualified introductions to decision-makers Active pipeline of funding opportunities Secured grants, sponsorships, or institutional backing Blue Corridor positioned as a high-impact, fundable organization
