Volunteer Opportunity – Garden Maintenance at Country Heritage Park Location: Milton, ON Country Heritage Park is a not-for-profit focused on providing education related to sustainability and agriculture in Ontario. We’re looking for volunteers who love flowers, gardens, and getting their hands dirty to help maintain the gardens surrounding our historic educational buildings. What you’ll do: -Weed, water, and deadhead garden beds -Removal of nuisance plants such as Burdock from the roots -Plant flowers, shrubs, herbs, and other ornamental or edible plants aligning with our educational goals -Harvest flowers, herbs, and seeds for use in our programs -Perform additional garden upkeep such as edging, mulching, pruning, and trimming as needed No minimum hour requirement. Current shifts available Monday-Friday between 9 am & 5 pm
