Arts Milton Volunteer Treasurer Board Member

Arts Milton is seeking a volunteer Board Member to be a part of the Council Exec as Treasurer. Ideally seeking a bookkeeper or those with professional accounting experience.
he Treasurer plays a key leadership role in the financial management and stewardship of not-for-profit organization Arts Milton. This volunteer position is responsible for overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining transparency and accountability in all financial matters. The Treasurer works closely with the Board of Directors, the Program Coordinator and external accountants to support the ongoing financial health of the organization.

●	Approximately 5 hours per month during the slower seasons, and up to 10 hours a month during the busy seasons (Sept and Oct), including attendance at Board meetings and review of financial records.
●	Additional time required during year-end reconciliation and reporting periods.
