Bike the Night: General Event Volunteer

Bike the Night is HUB Cycling’s celebration of night riding, featuring a 10km group ride along the Vancouver Seawall, starting and ending at David Lam Park. With pre-ride festivities like an E-Bike Showcase, live music, family-friendly activities, and community booths, this event brings together over 800 people of all ages to ride, connect, and celebrate cycling in a safe and vibrant nighttime setting.

Join the team that makes Metro Vancouver’s most magical night ride possible! As a Bike the Night volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting everything from event setup and rider registration to cheering along the 10km route and helping keep the site clean and fun. Whether you're on a bike or at David Lam Park, your energy helps bring this glowing celebration of cycling to life.

Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteering at Bike the Night is a chance to be part of one of Metro Vancouver’s most exciting and community-driven cycling events! You’ll meet great people, gain hands-on event experience, and help create a fun and safe atmosphere for hundreds of riders. Volunteers will receive snacks and refreshments during the event, a thank-you gift, and confirmation of volunteer hours. We’re also happy to provide reference letters upon request as a token of our appreciation for your time and energy!
